Baseball Schedule for 2023

MLB Spring Training

The 2023 Major League Baseball season is almost here and the start of the season is just around the corner. Spring Training is scheduled to begin on February 5th, with teams reporting for physicals and workouts. The first Cactus League games are scheduled to begin on February 26th, with the first Grapefruit League games scheduled for March 1st.

Opening Day

The 2023 MLB regular season is scheduled to begin on April 1st. All teams will be in action with a full slate of games. The Boston Red Sox will be taking on the New York Yankees in the first game of the season in the Bronx.

Interleague Play

Interleague play will begin on May 6th and will continue throughout the season. This year, teams from the American League will be playing teams from the National League in 20 different series. The 2023 interleague schedule will feature the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim facing the Los Angeles Dodgers for the first time since 2004.

All-Star Game

The 2023 MLB All-Star Game will be held on July 11th at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. This will be the first time the All-Star Game has been played in Washington since 1969. The game will feature the best players in the American League facing off against the best players in the National League. The winners of the game will be awarded the Commissioner’s Trophy.

Postseason

The 2023 MLB postseason is scheduled to begin on September 28th. The wild card games will take place on October 5th, followed by the Division Series on October 11th. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 17th, with the World Series beginning on October 24th. The 2023 World Series will be played at the home of the American League Champions.
