Today we’re going to make a craft from one of Dr. Seuss’ most famous books, Oh the Places You’ll Go!

This coloring book has lots of great inspirational quotes that make it a must read for kids.

Easy Dr Seuss Crafts & Activities For Kids • K4 Craft
This is a great way to further enjoy the text and learn all things Seuss. It’s even a fun activity to do before a big trip or in conjunction with rhyming words (put rhyming words on a balloon ribbon!) Here’s how you can get started!
1. Start by cutting out a balloon shape from your pink foam. We gave our freehand, which was very easy. Just make an oval shape and finish the bottom with a triangle shape. If you like, practice on plain scrap paper first.
2. Now, cut some strips of yellow foam or felt that will be used to make the straps on your balloon. It doesn’t have to be perfect, and they’re actually more fun if they’re wild and rugged.

3. Place strips of yellow foam or felt over the balloon. Stick them with glue. Cut them to fit.
4. Finish off your balloon by adding a piece of ribbon or string to the bottom of the balloon.
