Algiers County has an area of about 5,049 square miles and a population of 9,601 and is the county seat of Munising County. Pickle Barrel House, Paulson House, Hiawatha National Forest, Memorial Falls, Munising Falls and Miners Falls are some of the county’s famous attractions.

Eaton County, with an area of 579 square miles and a population of 107,759, has Charlotte as the county seat. It has the Blake Opera House, the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, the Lansing Art Gallery and the Lansing Riverwalk as some of the most famous attractions.
